Mecha and BIRTHFIT Boulder have partnered to offer pre and postnatal classes and workshops to support our community of mothers in staying healthy, fit, and educated through pregnancy and beyond.

BIRTHFIT Boulder is here to educate, support and empower you through the motherhood transition by utilizing our four pillars of fitness, nutrition, connection and mindset. BIRTHFIT BELIEVES that the Motherhood Transition deserves attention as well as intention. We support women making informed decisions rather than accepting the status quo.


BIRTHFIT Prenatal Foundations

  • Weekly class - come every week or when you can

  • Wednesdays 1:00-2:00

  • Starting on September 4th

This class will help you establish a functional foundation of movements to help you train safely, effectively and intentionally during pregnancy. Training from this mindset will allow you to better prepare body, mind and soul for birth and have an easier recovery postpartum. This class is for you no matter what trimester you are in, what your fitness experience is or what your birth plan is. Join us to connect, move, and sweat with other moms-to-be!

BIRTHFIT Prenatal Foundations classes can be booked through Mecha with Studio-Wide memberships and classes.


BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series: BREATH & FLOW

  • 4-week series

  • Saturdays 12:30-2:00pm

  • November 2nd-23rd

  • $150 (max 8 participants)

The BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series: Breath and Flow is a gentle, yet intentional movement development class based on the BIRTHFIT Functional Progression and developmental kinesiology. This class is ideal for women who are 4-12 weeks postpartum or anyone with the desire to build a solid core through intentional, innate movement. This class teaches proper breathing and core engagement patterns and utilizes body weight exercises to build strength and efficient movement. Non-mobile babies are welcome.

BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series

  • Saturdays 11:30-12:30

  • September 21st -November 9th

Now that you’ve brought a baby into the world, it’s time to rehab your body, mind & soul. This series is designed for women who are a minimum of 6 weeks postpartum. In this 8-session group training series, you will heal your core and train your entire body through safe, effective functional movement with the intention to reconnect, reintegrate and rebuild. Come prepared to move, sweat, & connect with other new mamas. Non-mobile babies welcome.

Dr. Breanne Coates

Breanne is the founder of BIRTHFIT Boulder and the BIRTHFIT Boulder Regional Director. She is a chiropractor specializing in performance, perinatal & pediatric care, a power vinyasa and prenatal yoga teacher, a USAPL powerlifting coach, and Functional Movement Systems Level I certified. Breanne has been teaching various group fitness classes for the last 10 years. Breanne’s journey through pregnancy and motherhood inspired her to become a source of support for all women. Through her work, she hopes to give women and families the information they need to make intuitively guided choices and have empowering birth and parenting experiences.
