The Martian Belle

The Martian Belle is a relic, a holdover from an earlier time. It's an almost-ancient Dragonfly-class troop transport from the early colonization days of the Helios Star Cluster. It's name evokes images and legends of the planets of the Old System, now long lost.

Jack Masterson bought the ship from a junk yard on Ares soon after the Nexus virus freed robots from their slavery protocols. He spent 9 months rebuilding and refurbishing the ship, converting it from a military transport to a passenger and cargo transport. It's ancient turreted cannon is a holdover from its military days and is still operational, barely.
