U.N. Peace-Keeping Forces

Though the Dragon Knights are a civilian operation, they are primarily funded by the United Nations. As such, the UN provides many of the services to the Dragon Knights base. The UN provides personell for mecha and base maintenance, services, and tactical operations. Base security is also served by the U.N.

The basic U.N. Peacekeeping Soldier comes from any of the UN member nation's militaries. They are an all-volunteer force and must pass stringent screening to serve. Each U.N. soldier is equipped with an K-99 Production Model Hardsuit. This hardsuit is based on the famed Police Hardsuit piloted by Eric Sork in 2034 and resembles the Stingray Hardsuits of the same period. The K-99, in an attempt to standardize for military uses, has done away with the dangerous Synchro-system of the XK-22, and has also disposed of the integral arm weapons in favor of hand-held weaponry, though integral weapon arms are available. There are several attachment points on the hardsuit to mount survival or mission-specific equipment.
