The Team

[ New Hardsuits ]

The Terror Boomers were unmatched. They were gigantic and unstoppable. That is, until Prof. Bill Thomas, gifted mecha technician and scientist, designed the Storm-Giants. The Storm-Giants are human-controlled mecha built to match the Terror Boomer and win. To pilot this gargantuan machine, he recruited his only son Taylor. Other individuals have also been recruited for the team. His name for the team was taken from his daughter's Hardsuit team name from 2034, the The Dragon Knights!

The team in its original incarnation was comprised of civilian pilots but was funded and supported by the United Nations Security Council. When Commander Maddox was discovered to be a traitor and Prof. Thomas and Nagata-sensei, the civilian heads of the project, were abducted, the civilian pilots were dismissed and the Storm Giants were put under military jurisdiction. After an embarrasing defeat that resulted in the destruction of the Storm Giants as well as the city of NeoAngeles, the UNSC has agreed once more to use an all-civilian team. Almost all the original team-members have been reunited under the Aegis of Dr. Mackie Stingray, UN special counsel. Dr. Stingray has designed a new class of Storm Giants based on Prof. Thomas' original designs. Of the originals, however, two were unable to rejoin. Without Cmdr. Maddox's sponsorship, Tomoro Steele was returned to military prison, Eric Sork refused to return, and Wey Yo is still missing and wanted for treason.

New to the team is Fenris Traitor, the sole survivor of the UN Replacement Team. Fenris suffers from amnesia after the accident. He was dishonorably discharged and blamed for the failure at NeoAngeles. Dr. Stingray, however, chose him for the new civilian team.
