The Dragon Knight's secret base is located deep in the forested mountains of the Cascades, in the Pacific Northwest Sector of North America. The base is situated in a shallow lake surrounded by tree-covered hills. It rises from the center of the lake in a six-sided metal pyramid. The top of the tower houses the Dragon Knight's command center, where Terror Boomer activity around the world can be monitored from covert military satellites on loan from the USSD. Surrounding the base are six launch tubes capable of launching a single Storm Giant supported by it's aerial Dragon Wing. The Supersonic Dragon Wings deliver their mecha-sized pilot to the scene of battle. The only access to the base is provided by a single road that connects it to the shore of the lake. The road then proceeds through a tunnel under the surrounding hills, which exits through a hologram onto a lonely mountian road.

The nearest city to the Dragon Knight's base is Portland, near the southern end of the urban sprawl known as the Cascadia Metropolitan Axis. Portland is bisected by the Willamette River which connects to the much larger Columbia River to the north. North of Portland, the city stretches along the Cascadia Maglev to Seattle and then to Vancouver. With the introduction of the Toy Tanaka Memorial Environmental Recovery Zone, most of the population of the Pacific Northwest has been concentrated into the narrow urban CMA while the surrounding mountains remain uninhabited and off-limits to commercial use. Strict ecological laws govern the region and the CMA prides itself as being a utopian eco-friendly city.

The Dragon Knight's base is funded and operated by the United Nations Security Forces. The UN provided technical, support and security services to the team and the facilities.
