Iria
Iria was originally a Genom Assassin Boomer and personal bodyguard to Toy Tanaka, VP of GenomNW, with whom she had secretly had an affair. Toy had several "modifications" made to her, endowing her with Sexaroid functions. During one operation, she was apparently destroyed and presumed lost. In actuality, she was found by a human scavenger who re-built and re-activated her. This human soon fell in love her her as well. Iria, at this time, had no memory of her former existence. One day, she became aware of her past, killed her benefactor, and returned to Toy. They were reunited and they continued their relationship. Iria fell madly in love with Toy, and wanted to have his child, something boomers were incapable of. To this end, she made herself the subject of a top-secret experiment. She was modified by Genom scientists to conceive and bear children. With this new ability, she covertly conceived a child with Toy. The child was eventually born and named Cal. Toy was suprised but intrigued, and allowed what he considered to be an experiment to continue. On Jan. 1 2034, Toy was killed by the original Dragon Knights and his plans for an Ecotopian Dictatorship under his control died with him. Iria managed to escape and disappeared. Iria tried to raise her child on her own, but soon found herself lacking the basic mothering instincts necessary for such a task. She eventually left the infant Cal at a hospital and took off on her own. Though she lacked many basic human insticts, she was quickly becoming aware of her newfound human emotions. She felt regret and remorse for what she had done, and always wished she could have raised Cal as her own. Eventually, Iria became involved in the Boomer Revolution and raised through the ranks. Eventually, she gained the support of the Boomer Nexus, a group of Nexus Boomers who orchestrated the revolt in 2041 and oversaw the new Boomer Kingdom, and was made their Queen. The title of Queen is largely symbolic, most of the real control lies in the hand of the Nexus. Her role is that of spokesperson, or figurehead. She represents the Boomer Kindgom to the humans of Earth. She thinks like a human, and thus has special insight and ability to communicate with them. Though her power is largely symbolic, she does hold some influence in the Nexus, which often carries out her wishes. Recently, she has become aware of her offspring, Cal. Cal is developing boomer hybrid powers, something entirely new. Now Iria wants Cal back, partially out of a sense of guilt and reunion, but more so for his awakening powers. She hopes to reproduce Cal, to make an army of Cal's, capable of defeating the humans of Earth once and for all! |
