Agent Blythe Demarconi
NRO DELTA Assassin
AUTHORIZED DELTA GREEN CELL-LEADERS ONLY
Blythe Demarconi grew up on the mean streets of the Brooklyn. She is the only girl of a family of 4 brothers, 3 older 1 younger. Her father was a union dock worker and reputedly had ties with organized crime. Some of her brothers actually were affiliated with organized crime and indeed her oldest brother, Antonio, was shot and wounded in 1987 by a rival gang. All her life, Blythe grew up idolizing the mob, wanting to be a part of the racket. Unfortunately, there are few opportunities for a woman in the New York mob. She eventually turned towards the military as a means not only to escape her inner-city working class life but as an outlet for her frustrations and aggressiveness.
Blythe joined the army after graduating high school. She quickly excelled at weapons training and hand-to-hand combat. Eventually, she caught the eye of NRO Delta Chief Adolph Lepus. Lepus saw great potential in this young female soldier. He arranged her transfer and detachment to his operation where she further exceeded her mentor's expectations. In the role of an NRO Delta covert operative, she displayed particular ruthlessness and cunning. She was quickly permanently detached from the Army's service and became an independent "case-worker" for the National Reconnaissance Office section Delta. This effectively made her a covert assassin specializing in eliminating security risks, leaks, and enforcing the political goals of the NRO.
Though Blythe has a team at her disposal, she often works alone to maintain a lower profile. She has access to a wide variety of the most advanced weaponry, vehicles, and equipment on Earth. As a "case-worker" for the NRO, she has Top Secret- MAJIC clearance, a nearly unlimited budget without oversight, and the ears of some of the most de-facto powerful men in the country/world. Unlike some NRO agents, she hasn't let all that get to her head. She still loves her work and she still visits her dad in Brooklyn.
Agent DeMarconi's weapons of choice are twin .45 caliber automatic pistols she keeps in two shoulder holsters. Her love for these weapons is based more on melodrama than convenience, she is a big fan of Hong Kong action films, John Woo in particular. She also loves Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
Blythe should be played as a recurring villain. An assassin that the players fear and respect, possibly hate. Her death should be an event, so don't let her die too easily. Her preferred combat style is the aforementioned John Woo-esque cinematic style. She likes to leap and dive and fire both guns full-bore. She's very attractive and actually quite friendly, but when she's working she's very very serious and nothing can distract her.
Note- Blythe DeMarconi is based on a real college student who is really from Brooklyn and really wanted to join the Mafia as a girl.
